Dr. Carr and her staff look forward to meeting you and your family at your first visit.
Dr. Carr will perform an in-depth oral examination, discuss her findings, and recommend a course of treatment individually tailored to your needs. In addition, a proposed financial arrangement will be reviewed at this time.
If Dr. Carr determines that further growth and development would be beneficial, she will recommend observation appointments at four to six month intervals. This program allows your child’s orthodontic treatment to begin at the most optimum time based on his or her dental growth and needs.
If treatment is indicated, she will recommend the next step: diagnostic orthodontic records. At this 30-minute visit, models of the patient’s teeth will be made and x-rays and photographs will be taken. Dr. Carr will develop a treatment plan after carefully studying your diagnostic records.
A patient case consultation appointment will follow, during which Dr. Carr will present her clinical findings and explain all aspects of your treatment in detail.
